Sometimes all you need to get off to an amazing start of your day is a super green smoothie bowl bursting with vitamins! After your meditation session that is 🙂 If you’ve had a long night out or ate too much in the evening, treat yourself to this easily-digestible bowl of blended goodness. This is not to say you shouldn’t have this every day!
A little word on kefir
Kefir comes in many forms. It is made by fermenting goat, cow, sheep, or coconut milk. The latter being the plant-based option! Fermented foods contain probiotic bacteria, which are extremely beneficial for digestion and gut health. As I said: great after a night out!
- 200g of unsweetened almond milk
- 100g of coconut kefir
- 1 peeled lemon
- 3 ice cubes
- 15g Sunwarrior protein powder
- 5 basil leaves
- 3 leaves of dinosaur kale (no stems)
- 1 tbsp of hemp seeds
Optional: To top, go for sunflower seeds, hemp seeds, goji berries, coconut flakes etc.
Blend up all the ingredients and you’re good to go! 🙂
